Saying from the Presidents of the MAPPP and of the IGD; co-founders of the CEF-O-PPP
Co-created in June 2006 by the MAPPP (Mission d’Appui aux Partenariats public-privé) and the IGD (Institut de la Gestion Déléguée, The French Institute for PPP), the CEF-O-PPP (Centre d’Expertise Français pour l’Observation des Partenariats Public-Privé) has become a forum for exchanging expertise and observation which is recognized as far as PFI-like contracts (called in France Contrats de partenariat) are concerned. The high quality of its partners has led to success regarding the basic missions of the Centre: analysis of real cases, experience feed-back, issuing views and recommendations. The next steps in the development of CEF-O-PPP, already under way, are the following: creating a research centre dedicated to PPPs and open to the public, and creating a “CEF-O-PPP label” designed to foster the best offers related to training public and private staffs on PPP in particular. Who runs the CEF-O-PPP ?
By mutual agreement between founders and partners of the CEF-O-PPP, the Centre is located within the IGD offices (with a meeting room and a research department) at 84, rue de Grenelle, in Paris, France.
